Secretly Mine

After lunch with Christian, I set off to meet with Yulia. There was an entire floor dedicated to Sophia inside the office building, and there, she had her own space where she could work.

As I walked into her ’office’, I noticed the many workshop tools and drawing tables. There were spaces for others, but she was the only one inside.

"Hey, Yulia. How’s it going?" I asked, walking over to her workbench with the metal briefcase.

"Oh hey! Welcome back! How was your trip?" she asked with a big smile. In her hands was a pencil, and she was sitting in front of a large desk with paper on it.

I walked over and placed the briefcase on the edge of her desk. "The trip was great, it was a very cool place. I’ve come bearing gifts!"

She looked at me with excitement, "Gifts?!"

I unlocked the case with the code I had memorized earlier and revealed a black velvet interior with multiple labeled small plastic bags that each contained a gemstone.

"WOW!" she exclaimed, looking at the contents inside. "There’s so much!"

She reached in and carefully picked up a bag with a diamond and looked at the stone closely.

"Such a good quality, too! I’ve never had the honor of working with top-tier gems like these before!" Her eyes sparked as she looked through the briefcase thoroughly.

"I sent you a photo earlier," I giggled. Her reaction was so pure and full of honest excitement that it put me in an exceptionally good mood.
