Chapter 70: Playful Teasing
The appetizing smell from the delicious-looking food brought me out of my thoughts. The entire table was filled with different kinds of freshly caught seafood.
Lobster, crab, fish, shrimp, and oysters were all displayed in beautiful arrangements in front of her.
Christian smiled, seeing my stunned and drooling expression. "Dig in, all of this was freshly caught."
I chose to try the seared fish first and picked up a small piece with my fork. It was so fresh and delicious that I didn’t believe I was eating fish!
"This is amazing! You really weren’t kidding about the food being on a whole different level here!" I exclaimed happily.
We both dug in, eating while chatting about the island.
"What day is your meeting?" I asked, curious about what our schedule was like.
"The day after tomorrow. Tomorrow I have a sightseeing excursion planned for us."
I nodded happily, pleased to hear how many things Christian planned for us to do.
"May I ask about the meeting? Will I be attending?" I asked, slightly nervously.
