"Oh my gosh, you’re really hurt." I whispered quietly as I tried tying my handkerchief around Kenny’s bleeding knuckles. His hand was completely messed up, and Peter, the man who he beat up, ended up passing out. I wasn’t even sure of how I was gonna apologize to Raya at this point. "It’s fine, it doesn’t hurt." Kenny sighed out but his hand was literally bleeding through the material of the handkerchief as he spoke. Jason was quiet as he drove us home but I knew he was on Kenny’s side in this situation. We had attracted so much attention that I hoped no one recorded clips of the fight but I knew that would be very slim because we did get a lot of attention since the person Kenny beat up was literally the groom.
When we got home, I remained in the doorway of the kitchen as Kenny headed for the fridge. He struggled to get it open and before I could offer him assistance, Jason was getting the fridge open and providing water for him. Kenny was still tense and worked up and he refused the water at first.
"I’m not incapable, I can get my own water." He gritted out but Jason insisted till he accepted the water and drank it like he was forced to.
I exhaled as I watched the two of them in the kitchen, taking up all the space with their sheer presence.
I hoped they wouldn’t end up fighting tonight because Kenny’s alpha was very on edge. At this point, I had a feeling his rut was only a few hours away.
I left to fetch the first aid kit and on returning, it looked like Jason and Kenny were about to get into a fight. Well, just Kenny, Jason still looked very unfazed and unbothered, and it seemed like that was exactly what was bothering Kenny.
