Chapter 61: boyfriends?

After thoroughly thinking a lot of things through, and after so much encouragement from Kenny, I agreed to accept half of the money Grandma Nini agreed to give me. I still disliked the fact that I was accepting it because it made me feel weird and like I was some sort of greedy person.
But I knew I had to be rational and realistic.
I was dead broke. I was living from hand to mouth. I was also expecting a baby soon. It was ridiculous for me to be offered money like this and to reject all of it, especially when the person offering it was offering it wholeheartedly and actually wanted me to accept it.
Kenny and I were splayed out on a lounge chair right there in his balcony and he was holding a glass of wine, while I was holding a glass of fruit juice.
"Cheers to becoming a millionaire." He called out and I snorted out a laugh as I clinked our glasses together and took a sip of my drink, enjoying the coldness of the liquid. I couldn’t even afford to get a fridge yet with the amount of money I’ve made from working as a waiter so far and that was because I was saving everything I could.
Being offered that kind of money really did happen at the most perfect time ever.
Kenny’s face was glowing beautifully as he grinned down at me and I felt my insides do a little flip while my heartbeat accelerated a little.
It’s been a week since I was here, a week since we scented on his couch. A week where things got incredibly heated between us, and I had grown so aroused and it would have been beyond mortifying if he hadn’t been aroused as well. That night as I laid in the bed of his guest room, I found myself squirming around because I still kept thinking about the scenting, which in turn kept me aroused and turned on throughout the night.
