Chapter 59: Scenting

Rory’s eyes visibly diluted as he blinked slowly, mouth opening and closing a few times.
"Scent?" He echoed out and I hummed, resisting the urge to grin when he kept staring at me like a fish out of water.
He was so freaking cute.
"Do you want to scent me? Then I can do the same to you. That way, we can leave our scents on each other." I explained even though I believed he was aware of what I meant.
His cheeks colored and he cleared his throat.
"Ah... I don’t know... I’ve never scented before." He admitted quietly and my eyes instantly widened at once.
"You’ve never scented before? Not even with your betrothed?" I asked and he shook his head slowly, biting on his bottom lip. Something expanded within my chest and I realized it was that possessive streak inside of me right now. It was making me feel feral in a way, mainly because I liked the fact that he’d experience this for the first time with me.
I turned around fully till I was facing him, completely ignoring the movie which I didn’t pay a single attention to since the moment I picked it.
