Chapter 2: Eye Opener
Rory's pov
My skin felt extremely heated, and I suddenly felt the urge to undress. I was panting and I couldn't see a thing, but I managed to find the bed in the dark room. The world was still spinning around me, and I let out a crackle for no reason.
When I tried to find a light switch and failed a couple of times; I silently asked myself if I was drunk. I had only taken a few glasses of drink, and even though I didn't usually drink, it didn't mean I couldn't hold my alcohol a little.
I flopped over the bed with a loud groan, while willing Tracy to arrive fast with my alpha. Or better yet, he should arrive on his own, then perhaps we could kiss... and do a little more than that, since I was currently feeling charged.
On a normal day, Alex and I shared enough kisses, but we hadn't gone further, because we were both waiting for after we'd both get married, and Alex never pressured me about it. That made me feel even more special to Alex. It made me fall for him even more.
I rolled to my side, calling out his name, like he was supposed to magically hear me from wherever he is.
A whine bubbled in my throat as I rolled around once again, and when the sound of a key being turned in the doorknob rang in my ears, excitement grew in my chest as I tried to sit up.
But my head felt too heavy for me to lift up, and after trying a couple of times, I slumped into the bed and held a hand out while trying to blink the haziness away from my eyes, like that was sudden gonna help me see in the darkness.
"Alpha." I called out in a whine, excitement brimming as soon as footsteps drew closer to the bed. I was bursting with happiness from the inside and I demanded that he walk faster, although I couldn't be sure if I actually said that out loud or if it was just my inner thoughts.
