Chapter 182: Don’t Take Him Away From Me
Barely hiding his content emotions which he felt after he heard his unexpected heartfelt words, Kylian felt a little curious to ask him, "I was abusing your Dad...so I thought you’d get mad at me... But...you look surprisingly very happy with my idea, doesn’t that make you a weirdo too, Zenith?"
"Well...to be honest, it has been always in my bucket list to kill that geezer someday..." His dark onyx eyes glimmered with a mysterious tint in them, as a diabolical sneer curved his red soft lips when Zenith continued, "I hate that man’s existence from my core! He’s the reason...my Mom could never lead a happy life this time. So...of course, I wish to see him reach his rock bottom and die from a heavy heart.
"So...your idea of course pleased me, babe. In fact, how about someday...let’s plan to kill him together, huh?"
"Oi...Oi...I was just joking, don’t take my words to heart already." The eagerness in Zenith’s tone scared Kylian a little as he patted on his shoulder a few times, as if to calm him a little down. "Don’t you remember the promise you had made to be...that you would live a wise life from now on?
"I don’t want you to hurt or torment anyone...and of course, don’t think of killing anyone either! Even though he was a piece of trash to you and your mother, he’s still your Dad...the person you mother loved the most. So, she wouldn’t be happy to watch you turn anymore twisted, right? And, to be honest, I don’t want you to go back to being that crazy Silver Devil...I rather prefer to become a gentler version of yourself. Okay?"
Strangely the vexed rage growing inside his heart while Zenith was wondering about Dolemort calmed down a bit with Kylian’s soothing words, as if Kylian had already gotten a hold over him to help him control his twisted bloodthirsty side from overexpressing himself.
He gave a small obedient nod to Kylian, but deep inside his mind, Zenith wondered, ’The world’s just too cruel for pure hearts like you, Kyle. Even if you forbade me to do so...to protect you from the darkness surrounding us, I won’t be able to act gentle as always...’
"Here, we have reached the main shrine, my children."
While they were deeply indulged in their conversation, both Kylian and Zenith didn’t realize that they were already standing in front of the magnificently crafted ancient Moon Goddesses shrine, which was considered as the most scared place in the entire Westport city. Just the outer crafted designs made Kylian’s ocean eyes twinkle with surprise, as he couldn’t believe his sight how could a shrine so divinely beautiful could exist in the mortal world. For a brief moment, it felt as if they had reached paradise already!
Not only Kylian but Zenith was also enchanted by the divine beauty of that big pink marble-sculptured main shrine, surrounded by beautiful cherry blossoms and colorful paper lanterns hanging all around the place.
