As if a little amount of his rational sense was still thriving inside Kylian, those words echoed in his ears vibrantly even though his heart and mind were in unison with his wolf’s rage at that moment.
Blankly gazing at Zenith’s concerned face, somehow Kylian couldn’t push his hand away which holding him back from attacking Ruben first this time, as if in his own way Zenith was trying to protect him.
While the thought echoed in his mind, with a heavy exhale, Kylian asked himself, ’Is this what it feels to be jealous? My heart is burning with rage...I never knew these feelings could be so scary! Did it happen because he riled me up by touching Zenith right in front of me?’
"Ugh...you darn psychos...You left a bruise on my neck, I am never gonna...forgive you for this! You have gotten yourself into trouble by picking a fight with me, dude..."
As if after pulling a grip over his dreadful and exhausted self, Ruben rubbed his fingers on those deep red bruises that Kylian had engraved on his neck from his strong chokehold. He groaned in a stiffy voice, while his legs trembled when he tried to stand up holding a giant tree trunk, "Darn it...you’ll gonna regret it..."
His warning was solely catered towards Kylian who had brutally crushed his arrogant pride, but shuffling his cold dark gaze on Ruben, Zenith interfered in between them with a menacing grumble.
"Before you leave, mark my words for the last time, Ruben. If you dare to pull any of your nasty tricks on him, or even dare to touch a single strand of his hair, I will be standing on your path ahead as your doom. He had spared your life because you did what he had asked for, but just as you already know, killing a person isn’t much of a big deal for me. Right?"
