Chapter 103: I Don’t Hate Him
Each of their horrifying stories left Kylian in utmost disbelief when he witnessed how cruel those bullying incidents had scarred their life. Each of their faces were tainted with darkness followed by extreme horror visible in their eyes as they spoke. Even though he had witnessed Stephan getting viciously beaten by them, hearing their stories churned Kylian in disgust and rage from inside.
However, the second they called him an Alpha again, it made him realize the bitter reality he was obliged to live in. Just because he was feigning the act of an Alpha, those boys were treating him with respect.
He knew if they were aware of his real trait, there’s no way they would ever acknowledge him for his strength, and strong will, but rather would chose to belittle him just because he transitioned into an omega.
But hearing those painful stories from them stirred a agonizing heartache inside him, when he understood the sins Zenith had committed against others were far darker than he had ever expected them to be.
But strangely, each of Zenith’s actions contrasted with how he treated those students, in comparison to how he had been gentle and sincere with Kylian until now.
Though Zenith’s gang had forced Dan to jump off a great height, it was also Zenith who didn’t have a second thought and jumped after him to save Kylian’s life when he had foolishly jumped off that building.
Each of his actions was too drastic in comparison, but while Kylian was contemplating them, he could feel a strange palpitation rising inside his chest. The soft corner that had started to grow in his heart towards Zenith made his mind baffled into pondering whether he should actually feel that way towards a cruel bully like him in the first place!
Indeed, hearing their stories made him feel disgusted by Zenith’s unforgivable deeds. But he couldn’t deny it himself, a part of his heart still tried to coax him into thinking what if there was a reason behind it? Or what if he should actually give Zenith a chance to explain his actions?
