Chapter 85: Crazy Coincidence
Zenith’s expression turned dark when he turned his face towards the direction where the voice came from. Though the voice was familiar to him, he saw a tall, giant figure standing still in the middle of the deserted hallway ahead of them.
The person approached them close after briefly pausing and when the moonlit scattering over the hallway fell on that person’s face, he was no one other than Aiden. Bearing a solemn aura around him, he kept glowering towards both of them coldly, especially at Zenith.
Kylian winced a little as if he didn’t expect Aiden to arrive there at that moment. Even after forming the pact with Zenith and accepting his condition to stay as his pet, he deliberately wanted to keep it a secret, especially from his bully gang.
But the worst happened when Zenith’s best friend discovered and approached them first, making him worry about how much Aiden must have heard them until now!
A fearful possibility dwelled inside him when Kylian pondered, what if Aiden had heard their conversation regarding his transition into an Omega?
Zenith was always quick in observing Kylian’s change of expression whenever a tough moment arose, and now watching his charming face had turned pale with a harrowing fear brooded in his eyes, Zenith narrowed his glare on Aiden before asking him, "What’re you doing here, Aiden?"
"Good grief." Aiden scoffed at him, sounding a bit irked by his tone when he crossed both his arms over his muscular chest, "Though I know how barely you pay any attention to your surroundings, I had hoped that you would at least remember I have recently changed my dormitory room from the previous one due to poor ventilation there.
"For your kind information, I also have my room allotted on this floor, and I told you about that way long before, right?"
His voice sounded very discontent just from the tone, and it indeed made Zenith realize how nonchalantly he has always treated everyone around him until now, except Kylian. He was amazed to realize he had started to pay attention to every detail about Kylian, to the extent of quickly observing his change of expression the moment he saw Aiden.
Even though Aiden had told him about this approximately over a month ago, but he paid no heed to his words. When Aiden pointed his finger at the room where he had newly shifted, after two rooms on the opposite side of the hallway, the first thought that hit his mind was, ’Damn it, why did Aiden have to shift in this specific building among the rest? I wanted to keep Kylian’s room a safe place from others...but how could I do that when Aiden’s here too?’
Aiden curtly rolled his hazel eyes at the room outside which Zenith and Kylian stood, before he exhaled a heavy sigh, assuming the situation, "So, did the boy was allotted this room here, huh? What a crazy coincidence."
