Chapter 18: His Scent!
Just from the depth of concern in Goliath’s voice, Zenith stared blankly at Kylian’s disheveled self before him. His heart and mind were indulged in a serious conflict, triggering his anger a bit when his right elbow where he was hit by the marble sculpture from the fall before, ached badly again, even though he had already taken some painkillers to deal with the discomfort.
However, watching gallant Kylian helplessly sob from shock and distress made Zenith exhale another long sigh as he couldn’t turn his back on him. Trying his best to control his instincts, Zenith rather chose to move a few steps closer to Kylian and stretched out his arm for him to grab as he urged, "Here, hold my hand and stand up. I will take you to a safe place somewhere—"
"JUST FUCK OFF!" But instead of obeying him, with the bare minimum resilient left inside him, Kylian growled like a wounded beast, while his blue eyes shimmered in tears at him. "Don’t dare to come near me! You are the jinx of my life! E-Everything happened because I crossed paths with you! I...I would have become an Alpha if I had never met you...You are the fuckin’ curse of my life! I don’t want your help... Just go away!"
"Hah! What a stubborn fool! And I thought I should help you at least tonight!" But his furious growl hurt his pride a bit when Zenith scoffed, rolling his irked glare at him.
"Fine, just stay here and soon you’ll be jumped by all the Alphas! They will feast over you tonight...so don’t come crying to me tomorrow... Remember, this will be all your fault alone!" Finishing his cold grunt, Zenith turned around but his body felt stifled inside the more he tried to walk away from Kylian’s radius.
However, shaken by his proclamation, Kylian started shivering hard in fear, cowering his arms to hug his body as he could feel the erection below him getting hard to control.
Along with the extreme discomfort and humiliation he bore from his dripping wet back, Kylian did not dare to stop Zenith after pushing him away, and kept mumbling on his own, "Yes...Go away...Don’t care about me you jerk..."
Watching him walk away suddenly made his heart ache with sharp pain, as Kylian felt a few extreme convulsions deep down in his stomach. Clenching his belly, he groaned and gasped hard while his wolf Morpheus declaimed the fatal warning, "If you let that Alpha go away now, you will be raped to death tonight, Kylian!
"Your body won’t be able to resist when other Alphas will pounce on you...so tell me, do you want such a painful end to your life? What about your mother? Do you want to leave her all alone behind?"
