Chapter 11: The First Class
Following the bulletin board, Kylian reached the assigned classroom where he was about to take his first class at the Elite Alpha Academy. Feeling quite nervous, he glanced at the draft that he had received on his phone after enrollment.
It was stated that every enrolled candidate would be assigned his own separate desk and chair in the class, which means his seat was also assigned already.
But along with nervousness, a deep wave of anxiety gushed inside him, as he took a few deep breaths in. Even though Stephan had urged him to attend the class, and not worry for him the more he thought of Zenith's smug face near him inside the class, he felt his skin crawling with agitation.
By now he had understood it won't be wise to pick unnecessary fights with this bully gang. Especially when he had learned that Garrion had put such a crazy amount of defamation charge against a student before, judging Zenith's eerie nature, he thought Zenith might also intend to do the same to him!
"Calm down, Kylian. No matter what those bastards say, let's not pick up big fights anymore. I came here to study, and I will only focus on that. I just have to ignore that bastard Zenith's existence, that's all." While walking here from the nurse's office, he had rehearsed those words to himself again and again in a chanting manner.
However, life doesn't always go the way we plan it to be...
As soon as Kylian opened the door of the classroom, his ocean eyes rolled in shock to realize how bigger and magnificently furnished the room was in comparison to his small high school classes. There were about 40 students inside the classroom, chattering among themselves. Most of them seemed like Alpha heirs from rich families in the city, so, Kylian was probably the only one mediocre among them.
As soon as Kylian walked in, those Alphas stopped talking to themselves and everyone's attention was quickly averted towards him. Kylian felt a bit suffocated from suddenly becoming the center of their attention, but he did his best to ignore their gazes.
But, before he was about to search for his desk, a familiar proud voice scoffed at him loudly, "Look, who we have here! Our guest has finally arrived!"
