Chapter 9: Information hunting!
Inside an empty giant classroom, Zenith was slackly seated on a chair, crossing his legs one over another while gazing blankly outside the glass window next to him. There were many cherry blossom trees lined up in the backyard of the academy, scattering little pink petals all around along with the mild spring breeze.
Even a few small petals slid inside the classroom and rested on Zenith's desk, making him stare blankly at those soft little petals.
Like always, his urge to crush those petals with his claws came into his mind but when he picked up one, suddenly Kylian's loud rumble from before echoed inside his head, "We were born like this so we could protect the ones weaker than us! If you enjoy tormenting the weak ones, are you a man enough to call yourself an Alpha!?"
"Fuck...that brat..." Along with the recollection of his voice, once again he sensed the stifled pain around his groin which he was having a hard time controlling on his own. Since he was an Alpha of supreme bloodline, such a hit was nothing comparable to what he could endure with his powers.
But now, not only did Kylian's words stick deep inside his head, but every time he closed his eyes, he would envision the sight of Kylian glowering his angry blue eyes at him. A cold sneer curved his lips when he crushed that little petal with his claws, grumbling on his own, "It's funny...how a punk like him has been bothering the hell out of my mind from the day he arrived here! Why the hell do I keep pondering about him?"
The door of the classroom opened with a creaking noise, and when Zenith averted his gaze, he saw Aiden walking inside with a pile of documents. He was also carrying an icebag in his right arm, and reaching Zenith's desk, he mumbled, "Here, take this."
"Why the hell you are giving me an ice bag?"
But Zenith grumbled at him inside which made Aiden answer awkwardly, "Umm, that boy told me that you may need an icebag to deal with the pain around your crotch. If the icebag's not working, then you should go see the nurse once to check if it's alright."
"Hey Aiden, you are making fun of me, right?" Even though Aiden didn't have the slightest glimpse of a smile on his face, hearing his cold rumble flinched him a little.
Zenith furiously tossed the ice bag away from his arm before grumbling aloud, "You think such a dumb attack would cause me any injury? I was just taken aback by his hit on that spot, which made me unable to retaliate at that moment. But I know that punk won the challenge with cheating...I won't ever consider that he could defeat me! Have you forgotten who am I?"
"I didn't forget...and to be honest, I was actually worried that you might end up killing him." Aiden exhaled a heavy sigh before answering him. Lifting his brown eyes on him, he handed those documents to Zenith while narrating, "But perhaps you have also realized that boy is a tough one. It won't be easy to draw him into submission, Zenith."
