Chapter 439: Not Anymore

There was still no news about the whereabouts of Mr Wallace and Bruce. But neither Xavier nor Xander worried about them much. For sure they were still in Radiantia, hiding somewhere and would probably leave their hideout soon, looking for food or money since Xavier had also made sure that his father’s credit card wouldn’t work anymore. So did Xander with Bruce’s bank.
They could only rely on their remaining henchmen for survival, but it also wouldn’t be long before they would give up on them.
Xavier had managed to destroy the underground human trafficking ring the royal family of Regalith had. It hadn’t been difficult at all since the royal family knew there was nothing they could do to stop them.
Their secrets were revealed and the siblings were set free from their parent’s clutches. Edward was taken away for medical help, and as much as Desmond and Izara wanted to escape and be free, they decided to stay and rule their kingdom.
Anastasia was satisfied with how everything was turning out for them.
The branch that was being constructed near the palace was continuing and work seemed to have gotten faster.

Both Xander and Xavier were staring at someone. Xavier held a disappointed look, feeling utterly betrayed, while Xander held a blank expression, not sure of what to feel.
