Chapter 432: At The Hospital
Xander and Samantha stood outside the hospital, contemplating whether they should go inside and check on Fiona.
She was the only one who knew the truth about what had happened to Arabella that night. Now, out of nowhere, someone had tried to kill her. Xander couldn’t shake the feeling that the attack hadn’t been random—someone had sent that man to silence her.
The police were still searching for the culprit, but he had vanished as if he had never been there in the first place.
"I think we should go inside," Samantha suggested.
Xander didn’t respond immediately. His gaze was fixed on the hospital entrance. Then, he noticed a familiar figure walking inside. The scar slashing across the man’s left eye was unmistakable.
"Isn’t that Harry?" he suddenly asked, his voice sharp with recognition.
"Where?" Samantha followed his line of sight.
He pointed toward the entrance, but by the time Samantha looked, the man had already disappeared into the crowd. She only managed to catch a glimpse of his figure before he vanished. But even from that small detail, she knew exactly who he was.
Harry was Bruce’s personal enforcer—the man who handled dirty work with lethal efficiency. If Bruce wanted someone erased permanently, Harry was the one he sent.
A sense of unease settled between them.
"What’s he doing here?" Samantha murmured, half to herself.
"Maybe..." She trailed off, struggling to come up with a logical explanation. "Maybe he has a relative in the hospital?" But even as she said it, she knew how ridiculous it sounded.
