Chapter 402: Crazy Woman
Anastasia was at the warehouse where she’d kept Mr. Russell while the world continued searching for him. Thankfully, she’d taken care of the bartender by giving him loads of cash and threatening to slit his throat if he ever said a word to anyone.
Luckily, Mr Russell didn’t come with a driver.
Anastasia looked at the man. He was half naked because Anastasia had tortured him so much and his clothes were starting to drip with his own blood, making her stomach churn in disgust. His eyes were closed. Despite the amount of pain he felt, he still managed to sleep. Anastasia couldn’t resist the urge to scoff.
Picking up the bucket filled with cold chilling water, she drained every single water on him, and he almost sprung out from the seat if it hadn’t been for the rope keeping him in place.
"What nonsense," he said, his voice weak and unstable due to how loudly he’d been screaming while Anastasia cut off his skin and made sure that she didn’t cut off any important organs.
"How can you sleep so comfortably? It’s almost as if I’m not torturing your life well enough," she said, her tone gentle and soft as if she was about to tear up.
Mr Russell glared at her through gritted teeth. He didn’t bother to try to move, or else all parts of his body would start to ache once again. His body had turned weak from all the torture Anastasia had practiced on his body.
During his first day, he’d thought he was going to be found out because he had the best investigators. But it’s been a week, yet, there has been no sign of anything. He still couldn’t hear the faint sounds of people or the engines of vehicles, which only made him wonder where Anastasia had brought him.
He was almost digitless with almost no finger left on his arm. His toenails had been pricked along with his skin. He was almost paralyzed with the inability to walk or even yell anymore.
"Maybe I should dig a hole in your hand and nail you to the wall, then saw your legs off. Should that be enough to kill you?" Anastasia mused, tapping her finger on her chin as she considered the idea. "I don’t want you to die too quickly, though. I still have a lot of presents for you."
