Chapter 316: Factory
Anastasia stared at him for a little while longer as he impatiently left the interviewer as if he had somewhere important to be.
The camera followed behind him, capturing his broad back. Anastasia tried to recall anything about him, but the images she saw were all blurred out.
"Why are you looking at him so intensely as if you can remember anything?" She heard Michelle’s question from behind her. "You can’t remember anything so don’t even bother trying."
Tibo and Turac both erupted in laughter as if Michelle had made the funniest joke they’d ever heard.
Anastasia turned to look at Michelle, her blue eyes looking darker than usual.
"I don’t need to remember anything if I want to make you pay for everything you’ve done to me."
That single sentence made Michelle’s heart skip in fear. For a moment, she barely recognized Anastasia; the usual girl was gone, replaced by someone colder, someone unfamiliar. A chill ran down her spine as she realized, suddenly and terrifyingly, that she felt like the prey in her own game.
She forcefully gulped down her saliva, that action alone sending goosebumps to travel around her body, but she tried to wave it off.
"You’ve been in this house for more than a month and you still don’t know how to talk?" Turac questioned. "Do you need us to teach you a lesson before you know how to do so?"
