Chapter 244: Michelle Has Disappeared
A few more days passed with Anastasia learning her lines, checking on the company, and monitoring her shareholders to be sure they weren’t doing any shady business behind her back until the first day for the scene arrived.
Anastasia arrived at the set with her two bodyguards who followed her everywhere, gaining attention with only their black suits and their bulky bodies standing out.
Anastasia couldn’t help but wonder where Xavier got these kinds of people.
As they entered the building, Anastasia waved at her co-stars she was familiar with and tried to engage in a few talks with those she didn’t know. Although she could feel some glaring at her with envy.
In just three years of being in the entertainment industry, she’d been able to break records, getting more business deals faster than some people, and most of all, winning the biggest award in less than a year after her debut.
Anastasia could understand where their envy was coming from, but she paid them no mind.
When she saw Martha, they hugged tightly, exchanged a few words before she left.
After a few minutes of waiting, director Jeunes, and producer Michael came out and announced, "Today is the first day of acting of Fury Veil, and I hope we can all work together to make a good movie. Mistakes are allowed, but conflicts aren’t. So if you have any grudge against someone particular here, keep it outside. When you get outside, you can talk about it."
"Director Jeunes is right," Producer Michael seconded. "Now, let’s work together to produce a good movie."
