Chapter 207: Broken Head
"I’m not surprised you said something so stupid, Derek. But you’re right, I should give you a gift, and I have the best kind of gift you would like," she responded with a smirk stretching on her lips.
Without hesitating, Allison brought out the pepper spray and intended to spray it on Derek’s face. However, it seemed the red head already figured out her actions and held her hand in place, narrowly escaping the toxic content in the container.
Allison hissed under her breath when she realized she’d slightly missed.
"ARGHH!!" Derek screamed in pain, as he fought with himself—his hands stretching forward to look for Allison who was taking a few steps back from him. "You dared to spray me with pepper spray!! Just wait until I find you, I will rip your head from your neck," he threatened, and Allsion’s heart sank into her stomach.
With careful thinking, she slipped out of the space between the wall behind her and Derek who was in front of her, rushing towards the door. Unfortunately, her shoes made loud sounds for Derek to identify her location.
Just when Allison was about to leave the room, she felt her hair being pulled hard.
"Where do you think you’re running to?" Derek questioned, pulling her back into the room.
Allison cried for help, but instead of coming into the room to help her, the closest person to the door only closed it shut, locking them inside.
A tear threatened to escape from Allison’s eye but she fought it back.
