That was not a small amount of money and Michelle was very much aware of that.
Due to her rage earlier, she hadn’t seen the alimony.
"What?! Do you want more?" Richard questioned her. When she didn’t respond, he grumbled, "You’re greedy!"
"If you think we’re still going to accept you as the daughter-in-law of this family, then you are sorely mistaken," Mrs. Wallace interjected, her voice sharp with disdain. "We’ve seen everything on the internet, and having you tied to this family will only drag our name through the mud. You’ll bring nothing but shame!"
Michelle had to think about the situation for a moment.
Not having the Wallace family as a strong background would be a really big loss since the Harrison family had nothing to call their own again.
Signing the divorce papers and taking the alimony would be very beneficial, since she didn’t have enough that would last her a long time. She’d spent half of her savings on bags, trending clothes, and bribing people to kill Selene.
80 million dollars could take her a long way, and Michelle didn’t care anymore if she lost the Wallace family if she accepted the money.
Her main goal was to win the next award in the next seven months and rub salt on Anastasia’s wounds.
Without replying to any of their questions, Michelle brought out her pen and signed the papers.
"There, it’s done. I’m no longer the daughter of the Wallace family. Send me the alimony because I need the money ASAP!" Michelle demanded as she handed Mrs Wallace the divorce papers.
