Chapter 155: Bingo
Michelle clicked her tongue. "I don’t care. So please Dad, help me get rid of her today. That’s the only way I will ever be at peace."
"You know, father isn’t entirely wrong. You should wait a bit," Jack interjected, scooping some food into his mouth. "Planning Selene’s death right after the award show would only bring trouble upon yourself," he added, meeting Michelle’s glare with a steady gaze.
"I. Don’t. Care. Selene asked for it when she embarrassed me at the award show." Turning to Robert, whom Amelia was handing over his drugs, she pleaded, "Dad, please. You have to help me."
Robert took his drugs and gulped down some water afterward.
He faced Michelle who was waiting for his response. "Since you want her dead so badly, no problem. I will contact my people."
Michelle jumped up in joy, running across the dining table to give him a tight hug.
"You are the best, dad!"
Robert continued with his breakfast, forcing the food to go down his throat. He had an appetite, but each time his tongue tasted food, he felt like throwing up.
He’d been feeling that way for the past week. He just woke up one morning and started feeling nauseous, nearly throwing up all of his entrails. He went to the hospital to get some tests done, but the doctor only said he was fine. Nothing was detected in his body and probably needed rest.
