Chapter 126: Attitude In Control
Selene, who had been watching the scene was shocked by Xavier’s strength but she nearly lost her due to the director’s carelessness. So, she didn’t bother to meddle. The director deserved the beating he was getting right now.
"You are lucky nothing serious happened to her, else, you won’t be alive to see the sunset," Xavier threatened before throwing the director out of his way. He didn’t want his rage to consume him entirely, else, the director’s blood would have already splattered on the ground.
Xavier didn’t need to say the next word when the director immediately ran for his life. His head was bleeding and he felt he would pass out in any minute now. He needed the doctor to come treat him immediately.
Allison and Natalie who were behind the door pitied the director a little before looking away as if they hadn’t heard or seen anything.
"You almost killed him," Selene said, but a small smile was on her lips. The director got what he deserved.
"I almost did," Xavier shrugged. "But his death wouldn’t be worth anything."
"I hope next time, he will get a stunt double or at least take proper precautions when we have to do stunts."
"Oh, there won’t be a next time for him. His career is over," Xavier responded.
Selene stared at him, a little shocked but his statement was predictable. Such a director could put actors’ lives in danger. All he would do was compensate the family of the actor and move on with his life. Then another actor dies—it would just keep on repeating itself.
Xavier assisted Selene with her crouches when it was time to head home.
The incident that happened at the set was immediately spread from one staff to the other, and the video was released. Everyone showered their sympathy to Selene while some bashed her for not knowing how to climb properly. Selene’s fans immediately came to her defense and bashed the haters.
