Chapter 117: Way To Go, Wallace
Kace’s black eyes tore from the red spots on her skin and bore into her frightened blue ones.
"Was it Derek?" He questioned.
Allison’s face went pale when she heard his question. She felt as if her soul had just left her body at the mention of Derek’s name.
When she composed herself, she hardened her face. "That’s none of your business, Kace. Let me go else I will scream and tell everyone you are sexually harassing me. The ripped shirt is more than enough to prove it," she threatened, silently hoping he would listen to her and let her go because she knew deep inside her, she couldn’t make such a false claim.
Kace stared at her for a few seconds. She looked frightened and relieved at the same time which got him confused.
Reluctantly, he let her go.
Immediately, Allison took several steps back.
Luckily for her, the makeup room was large enough, so she was able to create enough space between them.
She tried to adjust her shirt, but no matter how she did it, it wouldn’t hide the rip around the neck.
"Allison," Kace called her, his anger palpable but he didn’t know why he was angry. He didn’t share any sort of relationship with Allison yet still, he cared about her.
He took the excuse of being surrounded by young girls he saved from being trafficked to cover up his feelings. He had grown a soft spot for girls who were being treated badly, and Allison was one of them.
