Chapter 115: Confess To Her Already
"Just having fun," he shrugged, an image of Allison flashing in his mind. "Did you know that Kael Clark will be starring in the same movie as Selene?" He asked.
"You have to be kidding me," Xavier scoffed, a dry smirk on his lips.
"We can only hope she doesn’t get too close with him. I doubt he would want to befriend someone who is connected to you though," Kace added, making another aim and firing, the empty metals scattering on the floor like raindrops in a desert.
"That’s good. I wouldn’t want him to befriend her at all," Xavier responded, his gaze turning cold as he fired at the dummy without holding back. "I bet he already told Ezekiel about it by now," he added, which earned him a confused look from Kace.
"Last night, Maxwell informed me someone was trying to hack into Selene’s profile I’d already created for her. He traced it back to Ezekiel Clark. Additionally, he was trying to dig up Anastasia’s past, which I’d already erased completely from the face of this Earth."
Since Selene had chosen a new identity, Xavier made the drastic decision to erase every trace of her life as Anastasia. He meticulously deleted records, photographs, and any digital footprint that could link her to her past.
This erasure was meant to protect her and ensure that nothing could be traced back to her old life. By doing so, he provided her with a clean slate, allowing her to focus on achieving her revenge without the fear of her true identity being discovered.
Surprisingly, Ezekiel was digging into Anastasia’s past. Unfortunately for him, he wouldn’t be finding out anything.
Kace wasn’t surprised by Xavier’s actions.
