Chapter 102: Self-Defense
"I want you to quit the entertainment industry," Michelle demanded.
Selene stared at her. "What?" She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She thought her eardrums were playing a trick on her. "What did you just say?"
"You heard me right," Michelle responded, taking a step towards Selene. "I want you to quit the entertainment industry and go far away. Somewhere I won’t see you and want to shred you into pieces then feed your bones to stray dogs," she threatened with a smile.
Selene raised her chin, and stared at Michelle from under her nose since she was taller than the latter.
Completely unfazed by her threat, she questioned, "So you want to get rid of me like you did with Anastasia?"
Michelle’s heart skipped a beat at the mention of Anastasia’s name. It’s been almost a year but that name still haunts her.
"This is one of the reasons I like you, Michelle," Selene said, making Michelle give her a questionable eyebrow. "You are so delusional it’s laughable," she explained.
Immediately, Michelle was vexed by Selene’s reply. She didn’t care if she was delusional. She just wanted Selene out of her life like she never met her in the first place.
The more days passed, the more Michelle felt like she was losing everything she owned. Xavier was taken from her, her role, her fans, and some of her sponsors have terminated their contracts with her. She needed to get Selene out of the way because she was afraid of what she would do next.
