Chapter 14: Shameless
Amelia stared at Anastasia for a long while, her mind racing as she struggled to find her voice.
"Yes, but she still can’t help but feel bad about calling you a ghost earlier. She was just so shocked and the word flew out of her mouth without any control. Please, if you don’t mind, can we talk in private?" Michelle requested from Anastasia.
Anastasia nodded, "Sure."
Both of them walked towards a quiet corner, away from the crowd, while Amelia made her way back to her husband’s side. It was evident that she had left everything in the capable hands of her favored daughter, Michelle.
Michelle placed her hand on Ana’s, a sympathetic look in her eyes before she parted her lips to speak.
"I’m still very sorry for what my mom did earlier. I feel like I owe you a better apology for her actions."
Anastasia forced herself to pull a smile onto her lips, the effort evident in the way her eyes didn’t quite match the expression.
"I told you, you don’t need to apologize. It’s completely understandable. You know what? You are my role model." As soon as Ana said those words, Michelle’s eyes widened in surprise.
"I’ve watched every movie you have acted in, and that was why I decided to come to Radiantia so that I can meet you. And if possible, we can both be in the same movie and then you can give me some tips since you are so unique," Anastasia added, her smile widening even more which left Michelle speechless.
