"I didn’t know you could play games," Angelo spoke up when they were well on their way, contemplating whether he should take Katya’s suggestions and have some sugar cookies on the road.
"I’m in my office all of the time, sitting behind my laptop. Do you think I’m working all of the time?" Silvia asked, texting on her phone.
Angelo thought about it, Silvia really was always in her office, she would spend a lot of nights in it.
"Teach me to play when we get home," Angelo murmured, curling up in his seat.
Lightning streaked through the dark clouds gathering, it looked all the more sinister being viewed through blacked-out windows.
Silvia looked up from her phone with a curious smile, "What are your thoughts about dinner?"
Angelo kept his attention on the worsening weather outside, "Caspian wasn’t what I expected."
Silvia hummed, this was the first time she had gotten to have a proper conversation with Caspian, she had to agree. The Omega was a complete sweetheart, it had her wondering how Asher managed to convince Caspian to fall for him.
They made it home before it rained, and to Silvia’s surprise, Angelo insisted on learning to play puzzle games. It ended up with her playing and Angelo watching over her shoulder while he ate the confectioneries he got at the Knights.
