They were too exhausted to shower, immediately beelining for the bed. Lake rolled right into Davian’s arms, stealing a kiss as he did. He had gotten everything, an Alpha that loved him, and a good dad for his child.
It felt like he could taste his emotions from how they filled him up, his eyes sparkling as he broke off the kiss. "I love you."
Davian had still been half asleep when they got to the bedroom but Lake’s words flipped a switch in his head, now he was painfully lucid. He held Lake’s face tenderly, his expression soft. "I love you too."
A gentle kiss consummated their words, the honey-hued room warmly lit, casting soft shadows on their faces.
It was supposed to be a sweet kiss and then they would get some much-needed rest but neither of them refused to pull apart. The need for oxygen won and they soon sprang apart, breathless and clinging to each other.
Lake caught his breath as Davian kissed down his neck, the pleasure was razor sharp tonight, and although the lights had been turned down, it felt like he could see in technicolor.
The Alpha’s lips against his mating mark reminded him that he owed him something important. Lake let his eyes slip shut and focused on the sensations.
Their clothes when off easy, the body-to-body contact sublime. Lake bit Davian’s shoulder while the Alpha fingerfucked him open, muffling his moans.
He held onto Davian tightly as the Alpha filled him, Davian’s name on his lips. There was no need for words, Lake sought out Davian’s eyes as his pleasure crested.
What he was looking for was always there, Davian had always treated him carefully, Davian had always loved him.
At the first stirrings of Davian’s knot deep in him, Lake sank sharp teeth into the Alpha’s neck, feeling his shudder all the way up his spine.
