Rosie cautiously drove into the parking lot of Mafia King Nikolai’s casino, no one stopped her as she did, and even though she expected that, she moved carefully.
Very few people knew that she worked closely with Lake and Davian after all.
Her ginger hair was neatly pinned back as always, with two side bangs framing her face. Rosie stepped out of the car with her handbag and her trusty digital pad.
She wore heels and a sheer pantyhose underneath her short shirt, confidently striding across the asphalt. The bouncers at the entrance already zeroed in on her as soon as she approached, immediately picking up on the fact that she wasn’t part of the usual clientele.
Rosie was polite but she didn’t smile as she spoke. "Take me to Mafia King Nikolai, I’ve got a message from Mafia King Davian." She said levelly.
Rosie wasn’t scared of being in physical danger because neither Davian nor Lake would be pleased if something were to happen to her, but the atmosphere at the casino was intimidating regardless.
The man in front of her frowned, glancing at his partner. The other shrugged and tilted his head to signal his approval.
The man she had spoken to gave her another once-over and then made a move. "Come with me," He said brusquely, leading the way through the grand doors.
Rosie strode in, her button nose wrinkling at the scent of liquor that slammed into her as soon as she walked in. The entire ground floor of the massive building was just an open floor and the noise was deafening.
