Caspian went silent for a few beats at the store assistant’s question, realizing that he hadn’t asked what kind of function it was.
If there was a dress code, he was sure Asher would have told him, and if it wouldn’t give away his secretive plans, he would have called up the Alpha to inquire.
"One for the elite of Haines... and... and I’d like it to match my nails," He waved the new set at her, his tone serious.
The staff stared at him blankly, starting to think that she shouldn’t have bothered offering professional help.
But the two men with him had looked like employees, and the beautiful Omega was wearing rather expensive clothes despite how casual they looked.
So, although his words made it difficult for her to take him seriously, she pasted a professional smile on her face.
"I could certainly work with your nails, they’re gorgeous by the way," She spoke rapid-fire fast, making mental notes on what clothes to show him.
"Thank you," Caspian muttered, focused on the three-piece suit she pointed out to him.
It did match his nails in that the inner shirt was red, as well as the cuff links, bow tie and napkin.
But it was boring...
He couldn’t possibly outshine Bella with this.
