"Mmmhmm..."Zara slowly opened her eyes, a pleasant warmth anchoring her to the bed.
As her vision cleared, she looked down and smiled softly.
Lilith was curled up beside her, tangled in the sheets, arms wrapped tightly around Zara even in sleep. Her face was peaceful, lips slightly parted.
Zara gently ran her fingers through Lilith’s hair, stroking it with care.
A low groan escaped Lilith as she stirred. Her eyes fluttered open, and the moment they met Zara’s gaze, she smiled and leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to her lips.
Zara returned the kiss with a sigh before pulling back."Let’s get ready. I need to head to training soon," she whispered, sitting up and reaching for her clothes.
Lilith stayed half-buried in the pillow, her voice lazy and playful."You don’t need to worry about that today, dear."
Zara paused mid-button."What do you mean—no training?"
Lilith turned her head and smirked."Today’s the summit. We’re meeting with the Pantheons. All the Progenitors will be there."
Zara’s eyes widened."Wait... the Pantheons? As in the actual gods? Hera—the one who blesses saints?"
Lilith nodded."Yes, those gods. But relax. You’re my wife now—and Grace’s. Your status isn’t any lower than a mid-tier deity."
