Chapter 61: Zara and lilith marry
Lilith looked into Zara’s eyes, her expression unwavering.
"You have to marry me now too."
Zara blinked in surprise, her voice hesitant as she replied,
"But Lilith... I haven’t even told my parents yet. How can I get married so suddenly? I didn’t even know what that mark with Grace meant."
Lilith’s expression fell. Her gaze dropped to the floor, and her voice turned quiet.
"So... you don’t want to marry me, is that it?"
Seeing the sadness on her face, Zara panicked.
"N-No! I’ll marry you! Don’t be sad, Lilith!"
A tiny smirk tugged at Lilith’s lips as she looked up again.
"As Zara’s lover, I’ve already tasted your blood." Then, softly, she asked,
"Now, Zara, do you accept me as your wife?"
