Zara lay curled tightly in her bed, lost in dreams. The morning light barely brushed her eyelids when she stirred, stretched — and unceremoniously tumbled off the bed.
Thud.
She didn’t even twitch.
From the shadows, Fluff slinked forward, a mischievous glint in his eyes.He circled her once, assessing the situation, then darted off toward the bathroom.
Moments later, he returned, a heavy bucket swinging between his teeth, water sloshing dangerously close to the rim.
Without a shred of mercy, Fluff overturned the bucket right over Zara.
The flood hit her like a hammer, and Zara gasped awake, flailing wildly in a puddle of cold water.
Fluff dropped the bucket and pranced away victoriously, his laughter echoing through the room.
Zara wiped her face with one hand, glaring at Fluff’s retreating back. Irritated, she shouted:
"Fluff! You can’t escape from me! I swear I’ll give you a bath!"
