Chapter 127: Your Majesty
"Your Majesty!" Mariss Tormero, vice-captain of Vorad’s Highguard, burst into the Queen’s office with panic in his voice and step. Of course, he had urgent news. Otherwise, he would have never barged in without knocking first.
Tymia vor Akterad raised an eyebrow as she looked at Mariss, a little peeved about the interruption when she was going through reports about the status of her country.
"The tribes! They attacked!" Mariss exclaimed between breaths, having run all the way to and up the castle.
It did not come as a surprise to Tymia that the tribes attacked. It was only natural, considering what they were doing to their forest.
"Already?" The problem was that they had done so sooner than expected. The reinforcements to support the lumberjacks and heavy infantry had yet to arrive.
"The royal advisor said we had at least another week before the tribes united," Tymia said with a frown.
Mariss was helpless. He didn’t know what was going on in the royal advisor’s head, much less what had happened with his readings.
Tymia nodded once.
"Call for him when you leave, but report on our losses first," She ordered calmly.
"Significant but not crippling. With the reinforcements, we’ll be able to continue pushing deeper into the forest."
Tymia squinted with her crimson eyes.
