Chapter 62: Lovebirds
Sosora and Malak were, as they had expected, not the first to arrive. Five others had already arrived before them.
Kai, Lora, Kavam, Mijko, and Tilo all turned to look at the blushing, awkward couple.
Nick’s, Mijko’s, and Lora’s eyes all shone with an excited light at the appearance of the two. They suddenly got the urge to tease the couple.
Lora didn’t know much about Sosora and Malak. She was just observant. She had gone through something similar with Kavam, after all. There was no way she would miss the flowers blooming in the air around the couple.
Mijko knew about Sosora’s and Malak’s friendship. She was a Gezercher, after all. She knew a lot about the goings-on of the forest, especially regarding one of the key figures of the recent events.
But the way the two arrived at the same time with rosy cheeks like that...That wasn’t a pair of friends. They might tell others and themselves that they were only friends for now. But just friends wouldn’t accidentally tag on ’for now’ at the end of that sentence.
Nick had seen Sosora flirt with Malak, and he had seen Malak blush and get all shy. But when he asked them about their relationship, when the tentacle told him about it being his wife, they had not been this close.
Sosora had used it to flirt with Malak while Malak had entered a daydreaming daze.
Right now, they were carrying everything they had in one arm each. Their free hands just so happened to be facing each other. He could also see their fingers twitch restlessly like they were looking for something they had just been holding.
Their relationship had reached the next level.
Nick was happy for them.
