Chapter 320: Kellen’s breaking point (m)
Kellen was at his breaking point.
Rhys hadn’t left the whole time, and Kellen, while he sobered up from the medication, vibrated the whole time from holding himself back. Brent, being Brent, noticed that something was up and used having to talk to him in private about one of the Guides to rescue him and ask him what was wrong.
When Kellen told him it was because he was having a hard time not jumping Rhys, Brent’s grin had been full of mirth, and his laughter had filled the air.
"You are well and truly corrupted, my friend. Good luck. I pray for Rhys." Brent had continued to laugh even though Kellen was very serious. He was able to give Kellen a break, and those few minutes had helped him survive the guiding session with Taylor, seeing his parents off at a temporary apartment while they decided on what they wanted for sure, and making his way to the apartment with Rhys.
Rhys was excited. He was talking, but Kellen only had one thing on his mind. He felt a little bad, since he wasn’t able to focus on what Rhys was saying as he held his hand and spoke to him in the elevator. It was clear that he wanted to spend time with Kellen, but Kellen felt a little guilty for only having one thing on his mind.
As soon as Rhys opened the door to Kellen’s apartment, and took off his shoes and lined them up nicely, Kellen was making sure the door was locked behind them as scouring Rhys’ body, trying to decide what he wanted first.
When Kellen didn’t move right away, Rhys turned to speak to him, his eyes bright but Kellen had so many other plans in mind.
Kellen sunk to his knees, reaching for Rhys’ belt and Rhys froze. The soft clink of his belt being undone filled the air as Kellen stared up at him, his expression determined and Rhys covered his mouth, his eyes going comically wide.
"K-K-Kellen?" Rhys stuttered, shocked, and Kellen licked his lips.
