Chapter 73: Mu Ran’s Quest
The next hour was spent resting and recuperating from the injuries Mu Ran had sustained during the battle. The whole time, Han Xuhan kept a close eye on the portal and its surroundings.
The few disciples of the Stardust Sect who had stayed outside to guard the portal jumped in as well after someone came out from the other side with a message.
After all, no one wanted to be left out of a treasure hunt like this!
This cleared the way for Han Xuhan and Mu Ran.
"I’ve had more than enough rest. Those guys might have discovered some clues inside by now. They’d have returned by now otherwise."
Mu Ran leaped down from the tree and began to punch the air, warming up his body for more action.
"Let’s change into another pair of clothes first and put on some masks. If we really face those guys again, we can pretend to be cultivators who found the trace of the portal and came in to explore, just like them."
Following Han Xuhan’s suggestion, both of them changed their garments for a more ordinary look, indistinguishable in a typical crowd of mortals. Ever since Han Xuhan had claimed that he had a good plan, Mu Ran had become very agreeable to his proposals.
Carrying things like clothes, weapons, and medical supplies around would have been much easier if there were spatial rings being sold in the sect’s markets, something that Han Xuhan had assumed to be a common device in the world of cultivation.
