After what felt like hours, the car finally came to a stop—in front of a Restaurant. Of course, no one needed to tell Naomi that the building would be luxurious—anything associated with Zylan always was.

Though her mind was still, her thoughts remained restless. One thing she had come to understand about Zylan was that he had a way of saying things when she least expected them—when she hadn’t asked.

Like the last time, when he had casually mentioned details about his intimacy preferences. She hadn’t pried; he had simply offered the information. Maybe this would be another one of those moments. All she had to do was be patient.

The chauffeur stepped out first and opened the door. As usual, Zylan exited first, and Naomi placed her hand in his before they entered the restaurant together.

As they walked toward the entrance, Naomi couldn’t help but notice something strange—the restaurant was empty.

Wait, was it..closed?

A twinge of unease crept through her as they approached the door. It was unusual for such an extravagant place to be completely deserted. Just as they reached the entrance, a man appeared from the shadows and bowed respectfully toward Zylan and Naomi before speaking in a soft, welcoming tone.

"Welcome to our restaurant, Mr. Zylan and Mrs Naomi. We are truly honored to have you here. Please, come in."

Naomi blinked, momentarily confused, before taking in the sight of the man. He wasn’t in a typical uniform—he was wearing a formal black suit with a silver tie that shimmered faintly under the lighting. The see-through glass doors slid open as he nodded, inviting them inside. Naomi noticed that he seemed to be holding something—perhaps a list with their names on it.

Her thoughts stalled as her gaze lingered on the names. Thiernames.

She turned to Zylan, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Did you book this....?" she asked, her voice hesitant. She opened her mouth to ask more, then closed it in surprise. Wait... had he booked the entire restaurant?
