My Vampire Beloved Husband

Chapter 79: Her Boldness

The car came to an abrupt halt as Zylan maneuvered with precision, pulling smoothly into the nearest Road lot. In a fluid second, he was already at her side. His towering frame leaned over her, his piercing crimson gaze searching hers, as though he could peer into the depths of her soul.

"Eaglet," he said, his voice low but firm, tinged with concern. "You need to be very careful."

Naomi blinked up at him, her golden eyes hazy and unfocused. She shifted closer, her hand brushing against his chest. She could feel the heat radiating from his body, and it caused her own temperature to spike, her skin flushed.

"But I feel... so hot," she murmured, her voice breathy and soft, each word dripping with a dangerous allure. Her pupils dilated, the haze in her gaze thickening as she reached up to touch his jaw, her fingers lingering there for just a moment too long.

Zylan knew that the alcohol’s overwhelming effect was the reason behind Naomi’s newfound boldness.

She hesitated, then leaned in closer, her golden locks brushing against his shoulder as she whispered, "Don’t you?" Her delicate fingers slid up to the back of his neck, pulling him down to meet her. The scent of her scent mixed with the intoxicating warmth that seemed to envelop them both, making the air feel thick and heavy.

Before Zylan could react, her lips pressed against his—warm, insistent, and utterly unrestrained. The world seemed to disappear around them as the kiss deepened, a jolt of electricity surging through him, shattering the fragile restraint he clung to. His body tensed, and instinctively, he responded. His mind screamed for him to pull away, but everything about her, every little movement, every breath, drew him closer, leaving him with nothing but the chaos in his chest.

But just as the moment threatened to spiral out of control, Zylan caught himself. His iron will pushed through the haze clouding his thoughts. He pulled back slowly, his lips tingling from her touch, but he fought against the overwhelming urge to kiss her again.

"Eaglet," he breathed, his voice tight with restraint as he gently pulled back, his forehead resting against hers. "You’re drunk... don’t."
