Julius looked at the thousands of red cracks and shut his mouth.
"I should have guessed," the young Wizard King said, narrowing his eyes. "I can't tell you much, but here's the gist of it.
"Once inside the Book, under the guidance of Madara and Meruem, we cast a Sealing Spell on Soul King. Alan predicted it would cut off HIS effect on you and will also cancel out the Blessing, releasing you from the destiny planned by a Half-Deep One.
"The thing is, most of the Book's powers come directly from the Soul King. Take them as diluted versions of HIS authorities. Also, as the Soul King is consistently trying to break the Seal, we must keep strengthening it from the inside.
"Once the Sealing was done, Princess and Yhwach again shifted realities, letting our real bodies out. However, Soul King took the chance to severely injure all of us... Your father faced the full brunt of attack."
The AI waited for Julius to say more. When he didn't, it beeped. [And?]
Julius' eyes narrowed, his lips pressing into a thin line. "The point is, all of us are injured. Injured enough to not attempt eradicating Soul King's remnant psych from the Item. Alan... Sigh!
"He seems to be in a coma, but its much worse than that. Princess Serenity took away your father. Ben said he would help, but he didn't sound sure even to me. The rest of us haven't fared any better, either. You can tell that by looking at me.
"For now, we have barely pushed the inevitable. Unless we all are back to our prime, and have a sure way to deal with a Deep One, we can't attempt something like this. It can take hundreds of years... So, for now, you are on your own."
