Kai felt a cool breeze brushing against his naked body and opened his eyes.
His reptilian, hazel pupils had gained a circular rim of light purple covering them, making him look astonishingly evil.
"Clothes," he said, noticing the strange rhythm in his voice.
He took a moment to adjust it, burying the demonic hum.
Cersei approached him. "You scared us to death," she said, helping him dress.
Kai gave Cersei a look and then looked at Meg. He smiled.
Meg's heart gave away on the spot. Blushing furiously, she resumed her post, her fingers curling into a fist, her knuckles going white.
Kai then looked at Moraine, whose eyes had widened in awe.
She nodded at him before turning around and resuming her watch.
