Chapter 199: Malfoy Manor
AN: I wrote this Chapter at the height of my Architectural Enthusiasm period (lol).
Anyway, during those times, I had been researching the different types of architectures and their floor plans. Long story short, I had been very fascinated by the way some authors (online blogs) described certain structures. Influenced by them, I had also developed a momentary competitiveness to describe an architectural structure of my own.
This Chapter, and a few more to come, is the culmination of those thoughts. It is based on a real-world Grand Mansion. While writing and publishing it in Original Fanfic (Multiverse Systems), I had also uploaded detailed floor plans on my Discord. You don't have to access them, as there won't be much reference of the actual plans for long.
All in all, if you don't like it, and find it irrelevant to Fanfic, or general NovelFires' setting, then ignore the detailed descriptions and continue reading from where the dialogues start in the Chapter. Its cool.
NOTE: Now that I am discussing the Original Fanfic, let me also clarify the lack of Images.
While writing Multiverse Systems, it had been my greatest joy, and habit, to upload images and stuff related to that Chapter on Discord (All the material is still available on the Discord till a certain Chapter 500 something, I guess).
However, I have abstained from that practice with the revamped version. First, it had brought no significant rise in readers for the Original. Second, the extra effort I had put in the fanfic, letting the readers enjoy a real-life experience with the images, failed to reflecte by the number of Patre0ns, in turn, my earnings. It would be shame to lie that I have no monetary objectives. However, what I aim to achieve is the basic minimum, i.e. at least those who can support the work, should support the work.
Because of this, I had dropped the novel a year and half ago as I was getting 0 returns from it. Only recently I had picked the Fanfic again and then later decided to work upon the revamped version.
So, in the end, its my humble request to those who are financially capable of supporting authors to support this work as well. If not now, then when the revamped version has caught up with the Original plot.
