Chapter 175: Twist (1)
In the palace, Tyrion arrived and went in search of his father first to speak about the court.
Tyrion found his father alone, swamped with work.
"What is all of this?" Tyrion asked, examining the papers stacked up on the table. "Have you been abandoning your duties? Why is there so much work?
"My son, who ran away from becoming king, is asking why I have so much work to do?" Tobias asked, looking up at Tyrion. "There’s much to implement before your brother takes the throne. Dissolving the court also isn’t an easy task."
"It would be if you went with my plan to kill all of them," said Tyrion.
"Not all of the men in court need to die. Some will leave without trying to put up a fight. I want to do this as calmly as possible, not to overshadow your brother’s moment," Tobias said.
A mass murder of the men in the court should not be remembered in history at the same time as Teo would become king.
"I have men like Mark Wilkerson returning to the court. He and his men will stay during Teo’s reign, and along with the king, Mark will select the men to take his place. He’s also looking into what his peers have been doing," Tobias shared.
Tobias believed Mark could perfectly uncover any plans his peers had.
