The Duke's Masked Wife 2: The Prince's Outcast Bride

Chapter 169: Embarrassed (1)

"What am I to do with you? Anyone who hears how you speak will think that I have bewitched you," Penelope said, wrapping her arms around Tyrion’s neck to bring him closer.

"Haven’t you?" Tyrion said.

"No. You went and fell for me without me doing anything. Is there a reason why you are trying to push me onto the dressing drawer? I know what you are doing," Penelope said, allowing Tyrion to lift her.

"I am not doing anything," Tyrion said, playing innocent.

Still, his right hand moved to her shoulder to slip the strap of her night gown down.

"Why do I go out of my way to have Matilda dress me so beautifully for bed, all for you to address me as soon as you enter?" Penelope asked, her voice no louder than a whisper.

"I didn’t get dressed up for bed to seduce you," said Penelope.

"I know," Tyrion said, his hands skillfully pushing her dress down. "I don’t expect you to seduce me to make me happy when we argue."

"Good, because I won’t do it. You’ve filled my mind with the fantasies of you wearing your uniform, yet here you stand without one. I hope you are ready to take responsibility for all the indecent thoughts you lead me to have," Penelope said, running her finger along the side of Tyrion’s face.

Penelope outlined Tyrion’s face with her finger. She was ecstatic that they were able to move on.

"I am," Tyrion replied.
