"What... what happened?" Scorpion Shadow reached out and grabbed a soldier, asking with a trembling voice.

Scorpion Shadow nodded and, with a heavy heart, entered the central tent. There were no outsiders inside, only Scorpion Thorn sitting in the main seat, looking exhausted.
"You also fell?" Scorpion Thorn asked, lifting his head. He glanced at Scorpion Shadow, showing a hint of surprise before quickly composing himself. "Tell me everything. What exactly is happening within the Qin Empire? Why has our army of millions suffered such devastating losses?" Upon seeing the defeated army return, he had nearly sunk into despair.
